This series of takumi fabrics are very unique and are of exceptional quality. These takumi fabrics have been made using traditional patterns and motifs including kasuri patterns. The solid coloured backgrounds are made using a special gray fabric which is mostly dyed by hand and then printed.
Takumi fabrics make an attracitve feature in clothing, quilting, bags and household furnishings.

Stunning quilting fabric
The colour works so well with my Japanese fabric collection’s indigo and putty tones, fabric is a heavier weight with a looser weave with threads fraying with too much handling. The results are really worth it.
