Each Block of the Month is a building block towards creating your own 'Stepping Stones' Japanese influenced tsumugi quilt. The quilt includes stitching patterns that nod to traditional sashiko, and elements designed by Jane MacDonald. This quilt design has been kept quite simple to show off the 32 traditionally inspired blocks.
Quilt Size approximately 165cm x 190cm. (65in x 75in)
This quilt is made using pre-stencilled tsumugi fabrics which are made in Japan.
Included in this BOM are all the fabrics for the quilt top including the pieced border, binding, instructions, sashiko thread, sashiko needles, chaco paper and a sashiko thimble.
The BOM is divided into 12 sections, with this session beginning in May 2024.
