This is another excellent book from Susan Briscoe. Susan is a textile designer, author and teacher specialising in sashiko and Japanese textile design. In this comprehensive sourcebook Susan provides everything you need to know to get the most from the Japanese technique of sashiko. From selecting fabrics and threads to marking the design and stitching the patterns, this book begins with an introduction of easy projects followed by a library of patterns, then a gallery of sashiko masterpieces for extra inspiration. A must have for any lover of sashiko.
